'Pista' comes from the word for 'race track' in Italian (and Spanish and Portuguese, as well). Not every thing we do is racing, but every thing we do has some performance aspect to it.
Pista Design Moto was started by some friends who have complimentary skills and a mutual outlook for motorcycling. We believe that motorcycles make the world a better place by bringing fun into the lives of all those who use them.
Lindsay Ross is the Creative Director and designer. He graduated from the Transportation Design program at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA. He pretty much only wears shades of black and grey unless on his neon race bike, and thinks The New York Dolls are severely underrated. Blondie, The Ramones, The Stones, The Heartbreakers (both, if you know your history) and T.Rex are usually playing in the van. Oh, and Earl Sweatshirt (seriously).
Alex Kors is the fabricator and technician. He grew up wrenching on cars with his dad in Long Island, NY. and that eventually led him to California where he began working as a fabricator and mechanic for race teams. He will literally wear anything you give him because he's a wild animal that destroys clothing, somehow. He is usually listening to Nas, A$AP, TurboNegro, Hatebreed and Madonna.
Robbie Pyle is The Dude, who is usually too busy with classic Alfa Romeos and Porsches to contribute too heavily with the motorcycles but that's perfectly fine, those 4-wheeled contraptions from the 60s and 70s have all the style in the world and we've got a few builds coming. The Dude abides...
